I run many workshops throughout the year. If you prefer a sociable, welcoming group environment rather than one-to-one time, then my 'Moving into Awareness' workshops are for you.

Moving Into Awareness
Learn what somatic movement practice is, and how to resource yourself through body-focused sensory awareness. Workshops will include some touch (skills will be taught), and reflection through artwork. Suitable for all levels. In depth details below.
Duration: 3hrs (2:30pm - 5:30pm)

Moving Into Awareness
Enjoy reconnecting body and mind in a relaxed, sociable and welcoming atmosphere
Do you live with pain, feel isolated, experience a loss of enthusiasm or confidence to connect with others? Fed up with feeling tired, drained or on edge?
Our busy lives can cause a build-up of bodily tension, which manifests in physical and mental symptoms.

Discover the benefits and enjoyment of relaxing and reconnecting body and mind in a sociable, welcoming atmosphere. Learn what somatic movement practice is, and how to resource yourself through body-focused sensory awareness.
Taking place once a month in the River Room at Halton Mill, near Lancaster, the Moving Into Awareness workshops are suitable for everyone, with no minimum level of mobility required!
Groups are small (maximum 16) and the environment is calm and welcoming.
Enjoy a series of gentle, guided exercises, movement, reflection and rest, pitched to your comfort. Slow down, take a pause from life and focus on your body, breathing, movement, mind and emotions. Optional exercises can include seated stretches, standing movements, floor-based relaxation, touch (skills will be taught), reflection through artwork, intentional breathing, discussion and assisted guidance.
You participate as you choose, at your level of comfort and enjoyment.
These group workshops are the perfect introduction to somatic movement and the benefits of ongoing regular gentle practice. You participate as you choose, at your level of comfort and enjoyment.
